I know several professional Photographers who have 12" iPads and do almost all their photo editing in the field on the tablet. They will welcome this.

The article says, "The big challenge for Adobe will be to take the pointer-driven Photoshop interface, loaded with tiny buttons, sliders, and icons, and make it touch-friendly."

Affinity is touch friendly, see no reason why adobe couldn’t work it out.

Adobe has confirmed that it is working on a full-featured version of Photoshop for the iPad. Bloomberg says to expect its unveiling at the Adobe MAX conference in October 2018.
