Can't help feeling like I'm cheating...

Here are a couple pictures of a Dragon Fly that lighted on a twig next to my chair this evening. They were taken with my Samsung Galaxy 6. Both were lightly edited, (cropped, highlighted, & sharpened). I was mainly interested in showing the vein design in the wings. One of them was damaged though. But it was a very good, compliant, and patient subject.

Nice! And you didn't have to run and get your camera and lose the shot. A perfect example of the value of having that extra tool ready and with you at almost all times.

Saturday we took my two daughters' families to the Mesquite (TX) Rodeo. The arena is covered, seats 5000 and runs every Saturday during the summer. People in front of us were using cell phones to take pictures. Without flash, I noticed that the picture on the live screen of their cell phones were remarkably bright and nice. Julie, my younger daughter took my youngest grandson onto the arena floor and took a picture of him with HER cell phone in front of one of the gates that had the Mesquite Rodeo logo on it. It turned out very nice.

My opinion is that cell phones take great photos for sharing on the internet and storing/viewing on computer, which many people do today. I don't think they blow up too well, which is why I bought Julie a D7500. For the rodeo, though, a cell phone works great.

They don't blow up well? Have you ever seen large prints from the best cell phone cameras? They can be very good quality.

My cell phone is no good for taking photos. I’m sure I just need a better phone to make me a better photographer!!!
Right now I only have an iPhone X, but it’s great for TexTing!!! I’m fact, I’m typing this on it as we speak!! What do you suggest I move up to so I can shoot like the editor of NatGeo??? Will I have to wear a skirt too?!?!

I suggest only wearing the skirt if you look really cute in it.😂

If you don't wear underwear, you can call it a kilt and be "manly!"!
