The compositions you created in 1 and 2 are terrific and they would be successful no mater how you processed them. That said, what you did with each of them is very cool.

Thank you! When I pick plants to work with, I am careful to select those that will make appealing compositions based on how they are growing. It makes it much easier.

Thank you, Bill. Topaz Studio has a lot of individual adjustments that really add to the fun of processing.

Nice work on all of these, Carol. For my tastes, I prefer the green background because it seems to have a more natural look about it.

It is extremely hot, humid and rainy-not the best weather to be out in nature with the mosquitoes. This time of year I like to find a pretty plant that can be adopted and let it pose indoors before giving it a home in the garden. I have several varieties of ginger blooming now. The plants tend to be 2 to 3 feet tall. I recently found the little ginger that is the subject of these shots. It is a dwarf variety and the entire plant is only about 8 inches tall. I hope you enjoy these different approaches to the same plant.

All are nice, but I like the first with the green background as it looks like it has more depth.
Cheers Ron

Thank you, John. A more natural appearance was my primary reason for getting the green background to work with. I need to experiment a bit more.
