Yesterday, I got some great advice on SD cards for my SX50 while traveling abroad. I'd probably prefer the Sony for traveling (and quality) if I could find one lens with a range similar to my Nikon lens (28-300 for example). Does Sony have an e-mount with a wide range? I don't want to change lenses. I'm tempted to just rely on my Nikon A900. Oh well, I've got some time to figure it all out. Maybe one of you will help make up my mind. Thanks for your input in advance.

Isn't there an 18-200 emount?

18-200 is a big as it gets for the A6XX (APC) e-mount unless you get the 24-240 full frame E-Mount, it's around $1000

Yes Sony has several 18-200mm zooms in E-mount for APS-c for your a6000. There is also an 18-135 and a 18-105. Sigma makes an 18-300 zoom ($399) but you would need to get the MC-11 adapter from Sigma.

My wife uses the Tamron E-Mount 18-200 on her a 6300. We've been very pleased with that lens. The B&H link is below

Yes, I have a Tamron 18-200mm, and I'm satisfied with it.

I highly recommend the Sony E mount lens. It is highly rated and here is the one I bought: Sony E 55-210mm f4.5-6.3 OSS Lens 55-210/4.5-6.3 SEL55210 E-Mount USN-07-7990-3 2931105 1 USD $181.00
I bought it at usedphotopro.com, a division of Roberts Camera. They have great deals on used equipment. They may still have another available. The quality rating on mine was Excellent and it was as advertised.

Not sure where you’re going or your shooting style, but i’m more than happy with the 18-55 on my Fuji.. same size sensor as your Sony. Added a 14mm for a trip in May and used it a few times. Never wanted anything longer.

The Sony 18-105 is a very good lens. It is an f/4 lens and is not as sharp as a GM lens, it is not image stabilized but it does a very good job. It is an E mount lens so on your A6000 it becomes 27-157. The new price from b and h is $598, a used lens is $525. The price difference is slight which in my opinion speaks to the value of the lens. This lens is great for video. You might want to take a look a this lens. Good luck.

I’ve also had good results with the full frame Sony 24-240. It is a bit heavy, though, but quite sharp.

With the Sony 24-240, on an a6000, you can set the camera to portrait panorama and get quite a good wide angle-like exposure

I have a Sony 70-300 for my A6500 which I love. Gives you a little more reach on the crop sensor. For walk around, the 16-70 Zeiss is great.

I am having excellent success using a Commlite CM-ENF-E1 Pro Nikon to Sony adapter. It allows me to use all my Nikon Glass (Holy Trinity) on my wife's A6000, Son's A6500 and my A7III. I still use my D-500 for Nature and wildlife but enjoy the 28-70 as my walk around lens. Give it a look. Great product so far. Recently had firmware upgrades to accommodate a number lens.

Thanks FC for the link. I was there last night and then on ebay. I narrowed it down to the Sony SEL18200 and then I noticed that there was an SEL18200LE. The LE was about $50 cheaper. What's the difference between the 18200LE and the 18200 ? Anybody ? Thanks to everyone for the great input.
