How to take great photos with your phone (or other camera of choice): (1) Stand in front of interesting or compelling scene; (2) Pull phone from pocket; (3) Take many pictures; (4) Edit and re-touch accordingly.
Wouldn't work for me, I don't have an Iphone.
I took that course and was sorry I did. The first two sections, maybe three, and the last two were something I gained from. All the ones in the middle were basic photo instruction and didn’t have much to do with phone photography at all, except for shilling for the Snapseed editing program. If one already knows something about photography, I think “iPhone Photography School” is a waste of money. I wish I had mine back--lesson learned. The things I did learn I also found on the internet for free.
The skills needed to take good photos with a smartphone are the same as with any camera (e.g. composition, lighting, camera settings, etc.) Save photos in RAW format for post-processing. Some newer smartphone models will save in RAW. I use the iPhone app "Pro Camera", which can save as RAW DNGs. Post-process in smartphone with SnapSeed and other apps or download to a computer and use Lightroom, Luminar, etc.
