First of the 5 to go into J-Hook!!! Most likely will transform into chrysalis by tomorrow and then another week until the big reveal!!
This all happened so fast, I found the first three cats on Sunday, the other two yesterday.... they enjoyed being served fresh leaves daily... got fat and now....!!!!

Wow..
It looks well-fed. Pretty shot, angela and I enjoyed your narative!

LOL.... Merry, when I found them, there were pretty big and oddly I didn't see any leaves on the milkweed that were chewed!!
He/she is chubby and I hope makes for a beautiful monarch in a little over a week!!! I'll keep you posted... this morning I found the chrysalis!!

Thank you so much... last year I raised and released 23!! We all need to plant milkweed and help anyway we can... their population is on the decline, especially due to the pesticides being used!!
I'm thrilled that I found 5 on my plant.... 4 more to transform and hopefully the mama will come back and deposit more eggs!!

Thanks Jan... woke up to the beautiful jade chrysalis this morning... so another week and the big reveal!
You should get some milkweed... it's the only plant the monarch will lay her eggs on and the only leaves the cats will eat!! We should all try to help them since their population is on the decline!!
