This is a very appealing image. I like the older vehicle in the background. The car is pretty cool too. Well done.

Great Capture. Perfect harmony of the car with background
That 39 Ford had a true bumper and solid steel sound to the body if you tapped it with your hand.

Unfortunately, if you were at a car show and you tapped that or any other car that had a couple hundred thousand dollars invested, you could plan on drawing back a "bloody stump" as they say. One of the reasons the owners usually sit in a lawn chair behind their cars at such shows. Most of those cars are "garage queens" usually arriving at the shows in covered trailers that cost near as much as the tow vehicles.

But, they do look nice. I am truly surprised many of them stayed for a show in that weather.

Nice shot! I was almost afraid to open the post, thinking maybe it showed a car in a flooded parking lot. Thank goodness it was only wet.

Most of those at this show were "garage Queens". There were Ferraris, Auburns, Lincoln's, & even two Duesenbergs. I, too, was surprised they were out in the rain, but it made for some unique photos.

That's a 1911 Packard Model 30 Limousine. I didn't get a picture of that one up close.

1939 was a great year for cars, and a better year for me. Makes me 79 come October!

For some reason looking at old cars like these is a pleasure to look at. Very nicely presented.
