Need Photoshop help "Recovered" files: Every time I open my Photoshop, it retrieves several of my previous edited files and recreates a new version with the filename "-Recovered"...

Every time I open my Photoshop, it retrieves several of my previous edited files and recreates a new version with the filename "-Recovered" added; even though I last closed my Photoshop saving all my edits. I don't like this feature because it takes several minutes to recreate that and then I have to delete them.
How can I shut off this function?
Any suggestion?

In many years, I've never had this happen. I read a bit about it, and based on that reading, my thoughts are that you may be shutting down PS incorrectly. This link gives some information on the subject.

It must be the cause that some files were not saved(even though I had them Saved-as already when PS is(sometimes forced) shut off.
But I wonder if I can shut off this file-recovering feature?
Are every PS users happy with this feature? Or it just happens to me.

It also happened to me about a year ago when PScrashed and when I restarted PS the files I was working on showed up as rescued. Has not happened since then
