Back yard critter at home in the zoo

Our Toronto Zoo naturally has a Canadian section where this little guy lives. A young boy looking into the enclosure said to his friend, "Why do they have a raccoon at the zoo when we've got them in our back yard?" I guess he didn't know what section he was visiting.

Excellent download DebAnn. We have a semi-tame female with one young that she is nursing.
She visits us almost daily for a handout.

Thanks Cameranut. They are amazingly adept at getting what they want. Looking at the enclosure at the zoo, I was amazed that they (there were 2) hadn't figured out how to escape. There must have been a hidden fence behind the trees and there was a concrete wall at the front which was too slippery to climb.
