on windows 10, anyone else having that problem? I can put the old one back on and have no problems.

what I mean by crashing it just shuts down like you hit the exit button. it seams to be random will happen at any giving time.

Are you using the latest version which was released yesterday? I do notice that it is slower than past versions, but I haven't had it crash on me yet!

I downloaded the trial version of the 2018.5 version which is supposed to be fully functional. It has several bugs to the point that it cannot go from 'Browse' to 'Develop' without crashing. As a result I have not been able to use it. It also seems somewhat slower to load than previous versions.

I have been using OnOne (formally Perfect Photo Suite) for a number of years (mostly as a plug in to Photoshop), but what I have found is that after every new release there are always bugs in their software and it takes them usually a month to fix them and issue a new release.

All went smoothly installing update on my desktop.

On the laptop it shut down a few times during installation with a message "deleting database".

Fourth try went smoothly and it is behaving well on both computers now.

Haven't had that problem on my Windows 10 machine.

How do you like this SW? Is there much you can do with it that LR and PS can't? Is it just easier to process photos with? Trying to justify the additional cost.

I recently updated my copy of On1 Photo Raw to v2018.5 on my Apple MacBook Pro. Have experienced no ‘crashing’ problems either after opening or during editing of images, but I was not attempting to multi-task or edit large batches of files.

I have LR v5.7 which does not recognize or open Fuji RAW files. I have been very pleased using On1 to process such files. The latest On1 version - 2018.5 - has a number of useful new or improved features worth the money IMO.
I’m aware that I could upgrade to LR v6.14 or purchase the subscription version of LR.

Johnny, is this the pre-release beta version that was available on June 12th, or the final version that was released on Wednesday June 20th? I guess I will wait before I do the update myself to see if ON1 says anything about any problems and fixes.
