I have been wanting to take personal photos of people, but have been too shy to ask. This morning, I was at Kingwood Estate in Mansfield, OH, and this pretty young Lady was enjoying God's beauty. So. I approached her, asked her if I could take her photo. She was very happy to accommodate me. What do you think of my attempt? I converted the original to black n white, which do you like better?

I like the b&w best. I think it shows more of her expression and emotion. IMHO

I prefer the color. The combination of colors, the contrast between the roses, her dress and her skin tone depicts God's glorious gift of nature to us. To me, that is a better representation. Well done.

The color one definitely shows her beauty much better than the B&W version.
She has really nice skin complexion and the color version brings it out well.
Nice capture.

will

I add to the others, it is the color version that stands out.

Color. Her nails are striking against the roses.

The color one. The bits of red and pick colors, and the bits of sunlight are nice.

Color. So much information lost in conversion to B&W.

I favor the black and white. I’d also be inclined to crop up from the bottom to make it an even more intimate photo.

I prefer the B&W. It feels warmer and more intimate.

Both are well done. Kind of leaning towards the color.
