I have a sb130 flash I picked up 4 weeks ago, i put batteries in it worked fine for a month, quit working so i put new batteries in it, still did not work. I figured out that one of the original batteries i put in leaked., it did leak bad so i thought i would pull it apart and clean it, went out to my tool box and magnifying glass and found that the screw heads looks like a Phillips screwdriver, BUT with only 3 points instead of 4. i said all that to say this, where do i find/purchase this screwdrivers?

thanks

Those are what you call security screws. They are used to keep the consumer out of the equipment.

3-point screwdriver tips may be included in some sets along with flat, hex, phillips, torx, etc. Check hardware and home improvement stores, maybe even Walmart.

Could be a deterrent to keep you from killing yourself. The capacitor can be quite dangerous. https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Awr9DtDOKSRbqsMAZVZx.9w4;_ylu=X3oDMTByYnR1Zmd1BGNvbG8DZ3ExBHBvcwMyBHZ0aWQDBHNlYwNzcg--?qid=20070120013710AAzRq9P&p=electronic%20flash%20capacitor%20dNger

Always remember the age old advice when working on delicate electronic equipment. If something is hard to shift don't force it, use a bigger hammer!!!!

I've never seen thre-pointed screws, but the Japanese use JIS screws, which look similar to Philips.

Right! Find a kid in the neighborhood who likes tinkering with things. Ask him id he wants to work on a project with you.
