Boathouse and jetty.
This is one of my favourite shots from a recent trip. The open water that you can see leads on to a freshwater loch near the west coast of Scotland.

Gorgeous!!!
Thank you Edie. If I lived in that area I'd be looking out for a glowing sunset for the background.
This is beautiful R.G. - nice balance as well!

Thank you deer2ker (how did you know I was struggling to stay upright on a slippery bank?
).
Now "that" would have been a picture lol

A wonderful capture, made more enjoyable by the composition.

Not quite sure what I like about it most. A very appealing shot. Maybe it's just Scotland in the dry!

Thank you JN. The west coast of Scotland in the dry does give it a certain rarity value
.
Looks like a painting. Beautiful.

Very nicely done! It evokes a feeling of quiet and peacefulness. I would certainly like to spend some time there.

There is something very grounded about this shot. I feel like I am viewing the scene from a front row balcony seat. The pond has such a sense of place and contentment. My eye is compelled to travel around the pond and foreground. What seems unusual, is the easy choice between a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. All the while, the persisting allure of the hills is too strong to resist. Really really nice.
Would you have another shot of the scene which would show more of the right side of the landscape from the right edge of the building?
