They compare well with the urban commuter trains (Chicago, NYC and Boston) that I’m most familiar with.

We have never used trains, except for one tourist line, on our visits to the USA.

Nice shot-really gives a feel for the speed. Looks like a G&W loco in the background-they use the same colors over here.
