After the latest Windows Update, I have lost the ability to use Chrome. I am forced to use Edge. Has anyone ever deleted a Windows Update? I don't want to destroy my PC. thanks in advance.

Do you have a restore point that is set prior to the newest update? I have done this in the past with no problems.

Might want to reinstall Chrome. I personally have stayed with Edge and perfer it now over Chrome, fewer problems and runs very fast and clean.

I have done that. I guess I could get used to Edge, but I just don't like Microsoft making me use one of their products, I guess.

After my last windows update, I too had lost chrome, and my face recognition did not recognize me any more!

I had several updates that totally messed up my computer to the point that I'm afraid to click on any updates. I'm so grateful to have a husband who is a computer expert, otherwise I'd be dead in the water.

After the last big one chrome still works, have you tried reinstalling it?

My chrome works fine too after the last update. That's on multiple computers as well.

Part of any Windows update is to create a restore point. Its kind of a safety feature for their support staff, when someone calls after powering off the computer mid-update; for example. There is an update roll back process. Here is the quick way:
First, if you can get into Windows, follow these steps to roll back an update:

Press Win+I to open the Settings app.
Choose Update and Security.
Click the Update History link.
Click the Uninstall Updates link. ...
Choose the update you want to undo. ...
Click the Uninstall button that appears on the toolbar.
