What was the last locomotive to cross this trestle?

I really don't know but I would guess that the last was a railbus. AKA Galloping Goose

Good answer!
I haven't paid much attention to old wooden structures.
Don't know anything about them.
Just guessing, I think this is for lighter trains such as steam.

The RGS was a narrow gauge railroad that used a lot of hand-me-down equipment from the D&RGS and the CS. Currently the RGS #315 is running on the C&TS. I'll be posting a then and now of it shortly.

I thinked we talked about this before - we travleled from Mesa Verde, via route 145 to have have lunch at Ridgway and overnighting at Ouray for two nights.

Great photo and beautiful scenery. I can smell the pine trees and fresh mountain air and hear the nearby stream as it flows over the rocks.
