A hearty thanks to Pat for creating the Trains forum as it has excited me once again for RR pictures. So, last Thursday I ventured to the Colorado RR Museum armed with my new Canon 5D Mk IV & 24-105L II for a lovely spring afternoon. The museum in itself is static displays, with one ride that goes 1/3 of a mile around the facility. There is a main building with a gift shop and extensive HO layout downstairs, library, outdoor model layout, and a covered picnic pavilion with BBQ on the week-ends for brats, burgers & dogs. It's a delight to visit, just north of the Coors brewery in Golden, CO.

Very nice series!!
I was told the 2 Shays are runable(?).
Will need to be re-certified, first. And there, is the money issue....

Did you get any shots of the other equipment made from Cars, trucks & bus from the D&RG like in #1 - they were the originals from the Durango/Silverton run aka the "Galloping Goose" by the old timers around Durango.
Harvey from Pagosa Springs - a long time ago - LOL
