Scablands of Washington State 5-16-18

Just got back from a trip to the Scablands. Temps were in the upper 90's and I was on my motorcycle. All pics taken with a Nikon d810 and Nikon 24-120 F4 lens.

Nice photos. I live in WA State and have never heard the term scablands. Where is that? It looks like the Columbia river.

That's what I was thinking. We stopped several years ago on a scenic turnout of the Columbia river and had a similar view. I recall seeing signs along he path that said to watch for rattlesnakes. I didn't stay long.
I ride a '97 Honda Goldwing. You meet the nicest people on a Honda.
