I thought that was a heron, but there are several the same size at this pond so I thought maybe they were some other species.
If it is the same or a similar bird as #1 it is a Snowy Egret - the partial yellow bill indicates a young bird, adults have a black bill. If you got a look at the feet they should have been yellow - "golden slippers" is the term many use.
