We have been having some excellent sunsets lately. The deep colors are (per the experts) smoke from fires in Siberia. The three shots were taken in RAW, processed in HDR Elex Pro

Than you! You must have been sitting on the site as I had barely finished posting. We got two nights of excellent sunsets and I made good use of both of them.

I remember a time back in the late 60's or early 70's when a combination of forest fires in Siberia and volcanic eruptions combined for some incredible sunsets up your way. Since there are usually at least broken clouds most days the opportunities are really good. Great colors and saturation on your shots.
