Got to love those downloads!! That little button is the best invention ever!!
Thanks for looking.
What a breathtaking scene/ image, Larry! . You check out your locations, weather, time to be there. And then bring it all home. Your work is inspirational and always a joy to see.
Very nice. What were your settings for this exposure?

This was shot with my Nikon D810, 24-70mm lens at f2.8, ISO 1600, and a shutter of 15 seconds.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the compliment. I see you have figured out my secret. Success is 85% preparation and 15% perspiration!
The the really biggie is to really know your gear and how to make it do what you want it to do.
Just for fun, while i was gone on the trip I shot over 1100 images. All of them were done in the manual mode so I could be a control freak and do everything MY way. Nikon puts all that auto stuff on the camera and I turn it all off. Maybe i need therapy???
Thanks so much for looking and commenting. I really do appreciate it.
Not in my way of thinking. I am a nurse and I have found that relying on a computer and trusting it to do the work can result in disaster. And sometimes there's no do-overs. MAYBE auto focus because my vision stinks, but I'd rather trust my instincts on the rest.
