The week that I spent in the Smokies was a wet one. It rained day and night for a week. Sometimes hard. Sometimes just misting. It made for a lot of water that had to go somewhere. Cliff walls became waterfalls. Every drainage was a creek. Creeks were raging rivers, and rivers, well, they were huge.
These have minimal processing. Shot with 5D Mk III, 28-135, hand held. I stressed the ISO to get enough light to shoot in the darkness. Your comments are welcome. Suggestions for further processing would be appreciated. (Really, folks, I do VERY little!)

Thanks, 'Shadow. It was nice. So many watertrails. That's only about half of it. I couldn't get it all in the frame without falling off the ridge.
Nice images, Kathy, I enjoyed the falls! I think your wet week there has come to LI... we're expecting rain this entire week!!

Thanks, Angela. I wish the weather pattern went the other way. We need it out here in the west. I visited friends in Amarillo. They told me they had a drier winter than Death Valley!
If only I could hear the sound of the rushing water. Your photos bring back memories of camping by the rivers.

Thank you! The sound from the creeks was deafening - the smaller cascades not so much. Even when I was walking some distance from any drainage, I could hear water.
Number three is my choice also - but all are nice.

Thank you. That one seems to be a favorite.
Perfect pictures of springtime in the Smokies, Kathy. Beautiful images of the falls.
