I captured this in Northern Georgia as part of a personal project I have been working on for a couple years I call Forgotten Pieces of Georgia. For the project I am traveling to ALL 159 counties in Georgia and then plan to release the final project as a book.
Excellent project. Some of my favorite pix are those of Route 66. Because it was famous, it got covered well, but "lesser" parts of our history slip away beneath the shovel. And, I've always liked old photos of the vernacular life over those of the extaordinary.

Liam,
Great idea to become a photo historian and capture forgotten pieces. Hope the book is a best seller

Like to see a download. If it's going in a book recording Georgias past maybe a little pp to enhance what appears to be mould on the canopy roof, and to bring out the detail in the peeling paintwork. And what's that little dome thing poking out of the shadow bottom centre left.
Same here. It would be good to see a download. Its a good project. I like to do old Diners.

The part in the shadow is from another building. I tried different postitions to keep it out but it ended up in there anyways.
Great idea. I've thought of a similar project but, congratulations! You're actually doing it. Good luck.
