Well folks it has been a great run for a faithful UHH member of this thread of challenges that started out as "photo a day" challenge started by "photogrl57" on 1/1/2012. I first posted on day 46 of that thread on 2/15/2012. After some deep diving, and meticulous research in RR's profile through 1,734 pages detailing 25,999 post I found that Roadrunner'€™s first post was on 10/22/2011. I had been lurking on the UHH site at about the same time, and played around with a welcoming post some times. On January 1st, 2012 Roadrunner was right there, along with a number of others that have helped the thread continue to its present course. After a couple of iterations we are here now with two subjects a week (M,T,W and T,F, and S) and then Free Sunday. Jim volunteered to host the Free Sunday for as long as we could stand him and hosted his first one January 5th, 2014.

We have stood you well Jim and you've left some big shoes to fill, but I've got some Velcro straps and garter clips to help keep them on until I can grow into them. May need some help once in a while if I fall out of them. At my age that could happen. There is a lot of thanks to be given for your dedication to this thread Jim. I’m sure all have enjoyed your participation and will raise a glass with me to toast you. Thank you.

Rolk and Clicker, your "expressions" and "spring has sprung" challenges were fantastic last week. Great participation. So now it'€™s free Sunday and this is where you can drop off any of your left overs from last weeks challenges or throw anything else up on the posts that you think will excite us or that you're just a little bit proud of, or something you're not so proud of and you want to teach us something from your lesson learned. And in maintaining Jim's program there will be no charge! It is still a "FREE SUNDAY"

Figured I better dress appropriately for this post.

Looking forward to your leadership. You definitely fit the look, but you will need a chainsaw and have railroad tracks close

A very nice photo. Thank you Jim for your dedication to "Free Sunday". Thank you Larry for stepping up and taking on the duties of "Free Sunday".
Here is one more photo of a red-breasted merganser.

larry I remember when this challenge started and looked at it a year before I joined and put anything on. What a greenhorn I was. Did not know to much on how to take good picture. From joining this group I hope that I have improved on photo taking. I have a few from Ormond beach were Ron and I went today.

Thanks, I got some RR tracks nearby but I'll need to rent a generator for my electric chainsaw if I go anywhere outside my yard.

Thank you, sundar. This thread on this website has been an inspiration to quite a few of us amateurs with a passion for photography. Thanks to some very accommodating professionals along the way we all learned to improve.
