I was hoping we would have lots of flowers popping up by now, here in S/W Ontario. It has finally warmed up and we don't yet have a lot of flowers in our neighborhood, but I will go on a scavenger hunt over the next few days! In the meantime, we do have birds coming back and/or going through from the sunny southern United States to the cool northern areas of Canada, etc. Lets see what has sprung up in your neighborhood! Anything related to spring is welcome!
An Eared Grebe freqiuents Mitchell's Bay, on Lake Sinclair. Not sure if he has a mate that is on a nest or is just protecting his area

I will be heading out to see if I can see any sign of the Trilliums. They will bloom in about 2 weeks.

Roxiemarty reminded me that we were in Arizona in Feb. These are the only ones I have that I would say represent spring! I will be out tomorrow to see if I can find some crocuses or daffodils! And with any luck, some tulips....fingers crossed!

Yes I know what you mean, the only flowers I have seen so far are dandelions. I do have a few bird photos I took yesterday though.

Very pretty Lorima! Do you normally get the Eastern or Western or are you sort of in between? As for me.... I would never figure out the difference while spotting them in the field! And....we don't even have dandelions! LOL!

Arizona is nice. Unless it is summer and 110 degrees. But a beautiful state.

Is that a hummingbird nest? How cool to see one! I saw a hummingbird today, but he didn't hang around when he saw me.

Thank you. We get the Western Meadowlarks. I think they are very similar.
