Viewing photo and video files - D7200

Hi all, I shoot images on 1 card and videos on the 2nd card with my D7200. When I go to play back my videos, I have to go through all my pics on card 1until I get to the end and then it opens the 2nd card to view the videos. I looked in my manual (yes I actually do use mine) and also my cheat sheet but did not see if there is a way to jump between cards. Does anyone know the way to do this?
Thanks

If you have a computer, take out the memory card you want and scroll through the images or
connect the camera to the computer. In the file exploter (Windows machine) or the equivalent on a Mac, navigate to the folder (usually called 'ThisPC) that shows a camera icon. Click on it and navigate down until you get to something like DCIM or where you see folders that have names (or icons) that say something like 'photos' or 'movies' and scroll through until you find what you want.

Hi StarHawk. Good ideas and I use them when I'm in front of my computer but when in the field, I really need to view these in the camera i.e yesterday I did a graduation that had both stills and video and needed to review them as they were taken. I'm surprised with all the tricks Nikon has in their DSLRs that no one has asked about this being a review feature.

Plug your camera into your PC and download the pics into one folder and the videos into another...I just shoot videos and pics on the one card and separate them when I load them to my PC...

In a situation where you are stationary like the graduation, maybe bring a laptop or tablet and use either as a monitor to view what you take as you take it. You'd need to be able to tether or wireless connect to the devices and have a chair or table to put them on. Having a laptop or tablet would allow you to choose which card to view.

Remove card #1, turn on the camera and you will only be able to view what is on #2.

Start at #1 and go backwards. You will be at the end of your video card.

Thanks to all for the ideas. Have another engagement early next month (I volunteer at some long-term sub-acute hospitals where I work to do photos for events, parties, etc.) so will have a chance to play around.

I do have the wireless app that Nikon built so will try that one first with my tablet. I am trying to keep the total amt of equipment I need to bring to a minimum due to weight, space, etc. As of now I bring not only my camera, lenses, etc, but also a portable portrait studio including backdrops, monolights and related gear as many families want nice pics with their loved ones who are hospitalized.
