So You Say This Is Spring, Do You

Caught this little fella looking in my back window from one of my feeding stations. It was on April 16th, a "beautiful" spring day in a heavy snow squall off Lake Superior which dropped close to a foot of that evil white stuff in my yard. The look this Common Redpoll gave me needed no words to convey exactly what he thought of the circumstances that were upon him. This gentleman was not that happy as you can see. I did a quick shot through the window and caught what I think was the perfect expression. Not the best pic due to the quickness of snapping and a dirty window, but not bad either.

Thanks for looking and commenting robertjerl. Hell, even Horton's "Springtime in Alaska" was probably better weather than what we've had so far this year.

Thanks for the comment Rineal. Would have been a bit clearer if I could have gotten the window open without disturbing the gang at the feeder.
