If you go on the back boardwalk ( see the map they give you ) you will be walking through the middle of the heron rookery.
Even more close birds, you won’t need a long lens they are too close!

Thanks, Steven... wish I knew this when we were there, but we still enjoyed!! I used my sx50, no need to carry a long lens and the birds inside this park were not shy at all and were right next to me!!

Rich, I love all animals, but there's not much you can do in processing to make a bird your own... but if they pose, you just have to shoot!!
Glad you enjoyed and for some reason, all the birds there were fearless with the gators!
