For those of you who have a Harbour Freight store nearby, you may want to check out there knock off pelican cases they are very decent for the price and are waterproof and dustproof I have recently bought several to store my camera bodies and my Fotodiox system check them out online on Harbour Freight's website they are called Apache Rugged Mobility, half the price of Pelican and I think they are just as good, also check out reviews on YouTube.

I got a nice knock-off at Sam's for about $20.

Couldn't resist the Member's Mark case in Sam's - at $20 each, I bought two...one holds the camera body, 4 lenses, flash and some other odds and ends...the other is a backup (LOL). The toughest part of this was cutting the foam, but bought an inexpensive serrated know which did the trick. Can't beat the cases!

BE WARNED. Storing your equipment for any length of time in a waterproof and dust proof area can cause moisture to build up inside your equipment, NOT GOOD.

You would need a ton of it. DO NOT TRUST SILICA GEL TO PROTECT YOUR EXPENSIVE GEAR. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. TRUST ME.

What do you know that I don't? I've used it in my underwater housing and found it to be effective, at least in the short term. I have it in a sealed case with some of my medium format equiptment, have had for quite some time. What should I be looking for when I drag it out to check it out?
