Am I the only one who's noticed how much colder 32º is now than what it used to be?
Do you mean as back in Jan or Feb?

Yes! Even 42° feels colder now.
I'm still waiting for spring to arrive.

Could that be your age showing
This is the 1st year ever where I'm splitting next seasons firewood while still burning this seasons. Thank god for global warming or who knows how cold it would be.

Many years ago I had to backpack a few miles into a cabin in the woods for a few days at a time on a regular basis carrying supplies (for work). In the winter I had to ski in. If the temperature was above 20 F I had to strip down to a t-shirt.
Now that I'm older (and wiser?????) mid 40s seems cold to me, worthy of my winter jacket. Of course I quit the heavy duty backpacking also.
I have also noticed that continental drift has tilted the land so that everywhere I walk is uphill.
Maybe it is my age but I am not much of a complainer.
I left PA almost 2 years ago. I felt the cold felt colder in the last few years back east.
It wasn't the temp number is was how it felt.
Now in Florida first summer here it was warm.
But the last year summer seemed much hotter. Others said the same thing.
Temps don't change much they are 80-90 most days.
The storm last sept was unpredictable. It knocked down a lot of old trees around
our place. Locals believe the storms which always come are getting worse.
The water is creeping higher I owned sailboats always watched the bulkheads.
The fact that this change is becoming political is just stupid.
My daughter is an well known expert in autistic children diet and environment. She is well known.
We believe chemicals and all kinds of pollution are a major factor in what caused my grandson's autism.
Water is now the big emergency. Time mag. had a great world analysis of the problem
a few weeks ago. We need major conservation and attention to plastics and how we live.

I was thinking more in the terms of decades, but yes - pretty much any time before NOW.

Me too! It seems like the Spring has lost its tension.

I've concluded that the temperature is like a fine Scotch - it has to be aged in order to feel the full effects.

What I would have expected from a Floridian!
