Hello,
Recently a friend gave me his fathers #4 Panoram Model D Kodak camera. I for the life of me can not get it open. I was curious if it had the inner workings. I thought I could slide the back panel off. But have had no luck. Maybe I need a bigger hammer. lol Anyone out there have any ideas how to get into this camera?
thanks for you help,
John

A lot of the old Kodaks had a hidden release. Look for a bump or circle in the leather covering. Pushing it could unlock the back, or front.

You did good. It worked. Thank you.
Hi,
Thank you for responding. I got it open. To find build date it was necessary to open it (1902). Thanks again.
Post some pix of the camera??

Yes please post some pictures of the camera. I have a few old Kodak’s so I like to see others.
