You took a rather drab shot and really enhanced it. WELL DONE ! Now, my only concern. What about the horse breaking it's legs on that jump. At least the rider still has his helmet !

The first one is really awesome. I do like the original but personally think you needed to be at a different position for the shot. The horse and rider seem to disappear in the trees to me

Nice try. Seriously, that's a nice try at a hard shot.

When you're shooting a jumper, get into position at an angle to the jump. Go for about a 45-degree angle. Then wait for the moment before the horse jumps and snap the shutter. That will catch him stretched out and over the jump. Something like this.
