Nice image, but holy cow, that "trail is so faint I hope nobody gets lost in the woods. Looks a scenic area. Never been in Maine. Latitudes not being dissimilar it looks kind of familiar.

I remember visiting Acadia, very beautiful park. We spent 3 days there. I remember talking my wife into hiking a trail
I looked at a map and said it was only a mile or so. We must have gotten on a wrong fork, I think we walked over
5 miles before we got back. That was about 10 years ago and she still hasn't let me forget it.

We spent many a many summers there. Our usual last day was called "LDKH": Last Day Killer Hike. It was usually about ten miles or so, starting immediately after watching sunrise on Cadillac. When we finished, after a shower, at one of the better restaurants in Bar Harbor (Galen's). Many, many memories ...

I know what you mean. It looks like a lot of places, including southern Ontario about 75 miles north of Napanee. The trails are fairly well marked, including painted "arrows" on some rocks where needed. These trails are well traveled.
Thanks for viewing.

Some of the trails are longer than you would think, and they do branch to other trails. We have a trail map book that really helps a lot. One of these trips we are going to walk around Jordan Pond.

I've been looking at adjacent images, and as near as I can figure, it's probably along Beech Cliff Trail, before you get to this view:

Thanks for viewing Tony. We try to get there each fall. Our 2016 trip had killer colors.
