As a service to UHH members, I would like to collect responses from UHH members on their experience with non OEM batteries. I will collect the data and publish the results at the end of this thread in a day or so. Please respond with only these data: Brand of camera; brand of battery and experience - positive or negative. This might help members decide on what approach they should try. Please do not respond if you have only used OEM batteries for your camers(s). Thank you.

Fuji Camera - Wasabi -Positive
Canon Camera - Watson - Positive
You know you're going to get a lot of false input, right?

It's a battery survey, not a camera survey. Wake up!

Canon 7D Mark II Powerextra replacements for Canon LP-E6 (came with charger, from amazon). No issues holding charge, if completely run out of power, does take a while to recharge.

I'm awake, the response was unclear in differentiating between Canon brand batteries, Watson brand batteries, or whether the reaction to both was negative.

Perhaps you need a little more coffee, although there may be a limit to how much that could help!

Nikon: Vivitar: Positive
Sony: Sony brand: Positive and Newmowa (?): Positive
(For some reason the Sony will drain about 20-30% on the battery somewhat as it sits unused, no mater the brand).

Go back and read the survey request again. He very clearly says (to those who can read and comprehend) that it is a battery survey. The response you are referring to listed exactly what the survey asked for. Camera brand, battery brand and positive or negative experience.
