Nice images.
But your lens or sensor really need cleaning, The dirt really shows in the last image.

it was the lens filter I got too close and bumped the pot while adjusting for focus.
As I said first try so I did not realize I was physically that close to it looking through the viewfinder.

I don't think specks on the filter will show up in the image. They will be blurred out of existence. These look like sensor dust to me.
Anyway, this is a very good start, and I hope you enjoy the hobby. 😊

it was external unless the sensor cleaning cycle caught it because I have taken other shots after this and there were no specks

My question now is: why post the image without cleaning it up in post processing?

i was excited about how well the pictures turned out.
Also upon further testing I owe you an apology it seems the dust was on the sensor but was only showing up when the tubes allowed very close focus which would explain why it was not visible in the final image I posted.
When I am wrong I am man enough to apologize.
I discovered this today when just for fun I hooked my tubes to my telescope (not a good idea lol).
I have since blown off the sensor and tested with the tubes and a solid white board I think I am good now as far as sensor cleaning.
Thank you for pointing it out to me

No need to apologize, dust ect. sensor happens to everyone and it can take a fantastic image down to so-so, the same with oof, dust can be fixed in post processing, it can be a lot of work to remove but a good image is worth it.

the apology was not for the dust but rather for arguing as to the cause
