The Scholars Garden at the Japanese Gardens in Portland Oregon was an impressive area. This is a 5 frame stitch that was straightened after stitching.

I like it. I'm curious, though--you said "vertically". Does that mean the photos were in portrait mode? If so, I don't see how that horizontal distance was covered by only 5 photos (unless a lot was cropped off top and bottom after merging).
Yes vertically is portrait mode. You had to be there to understand the coverage and yes there was some cropping. The coverage was about 180 degrees.
