How much money do you think the NRA donates to candidates on a yearly basis. And how much does the NRA spend on other political activites on a yearly basis?

They aren't even in the top five in terms of $$$$ spent. Also, the majority of their money is spent against Candidates, not for.

here are the numbers- Roughly 400 million over the last 20 years or 10, million/year. At bout 500 members of congress and. 1 president it comes to about 20 grand/ year each. Now,that includes the total amount. of which about 3/4 of the money is spent on lobbying and other expenses, far less goes to each candidate in the form of cash contributions. The bulk of the cash probably goes to the p**********l candidate. so that trivial amounts go to members of congress. Of course these are estimates and probably not even close as far as money going to an individual candidates. That said, much is made about the influence and the financial "bribery" of congresmen by thE NRA. However when you look at the money spent by the NRA it comes to a triviality compared to other funding by other organizations. As far as accuracy of these numbers --google political contributions by the NRA. You will find tht the 400million over the last 20 years are correct. The other numbers are my division by about 500 (the number of congress) per those 20 years.
