A photographer's paradise is the semi-ghost town of Virginia City, Montana. Here is a before/after of a boarding house in a state of arrested decay. The original image has no adjustments other than some sharpening in ACR. The processed hdr image is in Photomatix and Nik. The hdr image will immediately get some "overcooked" posts. I'm not sure what I was attempting to do with my experimenting, but the final result, somehow, is exactly what I saw in my mind. There's just something about the final image that really appeals to me. Your thoughts are welcome.
