Check out the lenticular clouds in the second photo! It was so windy you could not stand to take a photo. A tripod would have blown over.
I sat & held the camera between my knees to hold the camera still!
This was the most we ever saw of Fitz Roy. Unfortunately, the big hike had a lot more clouds. The first photo shows the town.

WOW ! These are beautiful and powerful. The last one due partially to the bluish cast of the image gives me the feeling of being at sea in a huge storm. The mountain top in the foreground is smooth giving the feeling of a giant wave. Love these images.

Thank you, and to think I was disappointed because it was cloudy & windy! More to follow of the hike up to the glacier lake in front of Fitz Roy.
