Jan, I can hardly wait to see the photos you come up with from Cocoa Beach. I'm glad that my photos can inspire you and get you all excited!
Yes, the new lens is a Keeper for sure. It just raised the bar for my photography by a noticable notch! Are you a Canon girl or Nikon girl or another brand?

I shoot Nikon, but I am not a girl.

OPPS! Sorry Jan, I didn't mean to offend you in any way by thinking you were a girl. Nikons are good cameras and I have many friends that shoot with them. Keep on clickin'!

No offense taken Brent. It is a common mistake. I have been shooting with Nikons since the '60s. If I had started off with Canons, I would have stuck with them too. Click Click.

Yeah Mike, I did see your comment on the other post. Thanks for liking the photos and saying they have great action. The new lens is a Canon 100-400 L II. It's amazing! You are going to see my photographic level bump up thanks to that lens. Yeah, I like the high key effect in #9 also......kind of different!
Let's go photograph the surfers together sometime from the pier!

Would love to get together at the pier. Check your PM for my contact info.

Absolutely still friends. I enjoy your body of work, and it doesn't matter to me what gear you use. I have seen a lot of good good images from all brands. I, only recently got a digital camera. My move to digital over film centered around the difficulty getting processing and the increase in film prices. I still have several film cameras, both Nikon and Pentax. To me the argument about which camera excels over others is not supported by the end result. There are too many other variables that contribute to a great photo. Click Click.
