We were shooting near a flood control dam in Albuquerque, and I liked the strong lines. Then I added DAP with a lighter hand than my previous post.

Nice pose. Would be better if you hit the store image box. Would be better if she was wearing stilettos or you can see her feet.

What is the subject? The dam or the model? And they would be clearer and better if you hit the store image box.

I would have cropped off the upper third, using the construction as a frame for the model. As it stands, the lines take away from the model.

Hello BW,

I looked at this pic for a long time and thought what would make it OK as it stands. You cannot move the dam, but if it is at all possible to recreate the shoot to do it with Callie's sightline following the taper and perhaps an arm as well. I think that would harmonise the image and make it flow, ones eye would start with her work upwards and back down again, perhaps darken the top left triangle to assist in that.

I will be shooting again with Callie, and I like your suggestion. As a side note, this is a very popular hiking area, and as the weather warms, the crowds will increase. We came across a couple of boys hiking in the area, one was carrying nothing, and the other had a mattress strapped to his back.
