I love playing with Dynamic Auto Painter. I have used that and a couple of other techniques to produce an "interesting" image. I'll take any feedback.

YUK! Why spoil what might have been a nice photo. If you like oil painting, put the camera away.
Imagination running away with you old timer.

I'm glad you like it!
For myself I don't like the oil painting affect, and this is way over done for me.

If I'm looking for a beautiful woman nude - No
If I'm looking for an artistic rendition of an otherwise beautiful woman - ???

I have looked at the shot several times and came away with no strong take. For the most part, it looks like an attempt of many styles without any focus.

Perhaps telling us what you were seeing may be of help.

Yes, I like the rendition, what setting did you use in DAP, or is this another program?

It takes people time to adjust to Stravinsky like music, and impressionistic paintings. Personally I have used DAP for years and of late surly due to Mad Cow Disease from eating burgers have ventured into "Style", DeepDreams [by Google], Painnt [yes 2 Ns] and others. Guaranteed to drive the SSOC people to violence.

Seeing a nude is seeing a nude, but almost seeing a nude is enhanced by our beautifully naturally perverted male nature.

Pulling back on the effect on the face helps. Crop on the hands draws too much attention there. Arms look disconnected.

Even Stravinsky scratched through many music sheets before deciding on his presentation.

Next up, "Rite of Spring"...to the tune of C. Monet!

The technique you are trying reminds me of the one using a heavy impasto with figure painting, looks easy, but vey difficult to pull off. LeRoy Neiman, the painter featured a lot in the old Playboy issues was a master at it. Many were quick to dismiss his art for all sorts of reasons but I think his art for the most part has stood the test of time since few after him have been able to do it as well as he did. IMO, this technique works better with men than women.
