You got some nice shots. What part of Florida. I live in Clearwater and there are numerous nature parks, wildlife preserves, etc. within a 30-45 minute drive. And the everglades is a day trip. However, I am on the Gulf or west coast of Florida. The Tampa/Clearwater/Seminole/Largo Saint Petersburg area is great for shooting wildlife etc. Also the Pinellas County Transit Authority (bus line) is working in tangent with the Tampa Bus authority and have $5-$10 multi-day passes so you can ride any of the busses, trollies, or street cars all day long by just showing your pass. Its great for not having to find somewhere to park in downtown Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater. You can either park in a lot in the town you want to visit and take the bus or you can take the bus from home in one of those towns and make a day trip of it. In addition, we have Honeymoon Island (a gated state park is a good place for bald eagles, ospreys and other wildlife.
dcampbell52..was living in st petersburg for a while.my wifes contract's up.lived there for couple yrs also in Indiana. long story short we moved back to Indiana 3 days ago. no-one in their right mind moves to Indiana in February.lol. my favorite place was ft desoto park. not crowded, clean and close. very new at BIF. so I was pleased to get the shots in viewfinder. I was intimidated at first because so many skilled folks on this sight but that feeling passed so now just plodding along..am fortunate enough to have a bit of land and a pond here so fair opportunity to get some wildlife pics..heron and geese and ducks on the pond..ample deer pics as well..BIF this time of yr not many opportunities as in florida. but enough to practice..thx for the comments, jim
