The day was a bit overcast but it was a great adventure anyway.

Nice shot! Framing with the rocks at the bottom is a nice touch. Also, how did you manage to get the water to look as good as does? Moving surf and panoramas are particularly difficult.

That spindly tree on the right detracts from the composition. When shooting panoramas, it is not necessary to retain all of the component images in your final work. You could crop that out, do a little healing brush work on any remaining visible branches, apply a DeHaze filter and take your images to the next step.

I took a look at cropping the tree- yes, it is spindly but I think it adds a framing touch and I think cropping the tree out would detract from the whole, having seen the whole.

The stitch was done along a line where the main water element was the non-surf water. That and probably some just dumb luck.
