Been looking for a new Canon T7I for a few months now. Lots of websites and Ebay. Just need the body as I have an older T3I with 3 lenses. Abe's of Maine has the new body for $595 which is much cheaper than anywhere else. AOM? Good dealer or a rip off?

I would need a lot longer than a 10 foot pole before touching anything they have.

They flood on-line reviews with their spam, but then they wrote the rules on how to bait and switch.

Abes of Maine used to be a high quality dealer. Unfortunately they went bankrupt and some scam artists bought the name. They specialize in selling gray market and demanding extra for the battery and insist on a warranty.

Old story..price to good to believe...run far and fast. If you buy from them it is gray market and does not cover USA warranty. They also take stuff that was from Canon and tell you it is extra cost

Anyone selling a new in box USA T7i body for under $700 is probably not on the up and up.

They won't send it until they speak with you about your order i.e. upsell you stuff.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! They sell gray market, always try to upsell, have lousy CS, and hold back refunds.
Not much more to add. Stick with ABC or KEH for online. If not, just buy local as the big names insist their cameras are sold at MSRP.

Personally never had a problem with them. Bought two cameras from them.

They ARE grey-market . Scam artists . Their warranty isn’t a Canon warranty . Save up the extra hundred bucks or so , and buy a genuine Canon with a Canon warranty 😃

If you’re ok with gray market then you probably didn’t.
