I tried searching the site and found nothing. Does anyone have any experience with this store? I'm looking at a used lens on their site and would like to know if they are reputable. Thank you.

It's been mentioned on UHH many times as a very reliable and dependable source. Not first hand for me.

I have purchased from them in-store in San Francisco and through the internet (Ebay) for assorted things. The stores are legit with good stock and knowledgeable people. I haven't bought through their website, but if Ebay is an indicator, you should be good to go.

I have bought quite a bit from Samy's over the years. It is a very reliable store/company. I would not be worried about buying something from them.

I purchased camera gear at Samy's Santa Barbara store. Was pleased with both the products and service from friendly staff members.

Make sure you understand their RETURN POLICY before you buy, ask specific questions and jot down the sales person's name and the time of day you called and exactly what they told you. Protect yourself first, then buy.

B & H, KEH, EBay and others all sell used lenses. You have many choices. You may also want to look at refurbished lenses.

I was looking at a specific lens and found one on eBay at Samy's. Not sure I'm going to buy the lens but I now know Samy's is a viable option. Thank you Mark.

For us West Coast guys, they are the best. Their store on Fairfax in Los Angeles is like a candy store, about 4 floors of goodies and more goodies. I have purchased at the store and online from them. They are very reputable. I have not looked lately but they had a great website for viewing and ordering products.
