That may be true, but it was the Democrats who v**ed for the shutdown. Had they not v**ed to approve it, it would have been a non-issue.

Appeared ugly, was ugly but, it was a calculated move that worked. The dems saw their poll numbers tanking and capitulated. Further more the military would not have lost their pay, they would have received every penny owed them with a bonus. (its the law)

Only stupid people wouldn't know that military would still get paid. Thus those would be the ones who would v**e for her if her "unanimous consent" addendum is the reason that they would.
