I love Picasa, its simple and fast and does everything I want it to do. My computer crashed and after several hours of dealing with techs overseas, I ended up loading a new Windows 10. The result of this is that my data is intact but all my applications were gone. As you all know, Google has stopped supporting the product. So, just for the heck of it, I googled Picasa 3 and found several sites that advertised that you could download it, free. So, I did. After I downloaded it and make sure it worked, I ran Norton to ensure I didn't get some sort of virus, I didn't. So, Picasa still lives and I am a happy camper.

Good for you. It's also important to consider that online downloads may not be there forever. When I download an install kit I save it in my software library for future use. I still have and use some applications that are over twenty years old happily working on the latest Windows 20, and if I want a clean install, new computer or even a complete system rebuild I can just install what I need.
Good luck
I have used Picas for a few years. Never any problems and easy to use.
Glad to hear you had good results as well.

For all you Picasa users download Faststone. Another free PP program, also easy to use and more comprehensive than picasa.
Which Picasa 3 site did u use? Save me from picking one with a possible virus.

I believe it was this one:
http://download.cnet.com/Picasa/3000-2193_4-10160334.htmlMainly because I trust Cnet. I would recommend that you run Norton like I did after you download it. Good luck. Please let me know if that didn't work.
I still use it. Sadly my laptop is in the shop and had to load everything off of it..I bet Picasa will be gone when I get it back on Friday. Have loaded it on another laptop though to finish a birthday project for my mom...and yes, love Picasa...saved my bacon more than once.
