Google NIK collection for MAC: I was just given a MACBook Pro and I wanted the free Google NIK collection to use on it. I am looking for a functioning link to download the MAC version...

I was just given a MACBook Pro and I wanted the free Google NIK collection to use on it. I am looking for a functioning link to download the MAC version, so far with no success at all. I went to DxO's site since they bought it from Google and supposedly you can still get the free version Google was giving out. I gave my email address on DxO's site and they supposedly will send a link to download the Google version but they never sent an email with the link. Does anyone here that uses a MAC have a link that works that they could provide so I could get the MAC version. I've had the Windows version for quite awhile but that doesn't help me at all with the MAC. Any help in obtaining the MAC version will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. I knew that Google had bought them and that recently DxO had bought them I looked on their site and it leads you to believe if you give them your email address that they will send you a link the the Google versions they acquired but they never actually send the email.

I tried several times, they never sent the link. I guess that they are getting ready to charge for it.

Actually, they do. When you subscribe to their NIK newsletter they send you an email confirmation. That email asks you to confirm the subscription. There is no charge. When you do that they send the second email with a link to both the MAC and Windows version.

Nope, not charging for it yet, although I'm sure they will be shortly. It worked for me this evening. I already have NIK installed but i did check out the link anyway.

next select a snapshot from around july 2016

click download and it should give mac or windows rightclick the link and save link address

There is no knowing how long google will keep that link active but it works today.

This site kinda messes up the archive.org link but https://dl.google.com/edgedl/photos/nikcollection-full-1.2.11.exe is what you want. Try this method for yourself and you can use it again later.
