Spotting distant sheep in the snow is no easy task. She looks as if she has already nodded off standing up. I think I would have been tempted to loose the car even if it meant loosing half the sign. At least I would have liked to see the alternatives before making a decision.

I thought about losing the car but decided not to. I guess I could have tried it to see the alternative like you said. I think I need to be more critical of my shots before posting. Thank you, SATS, for your help.

Do be critical! This is Street Photography and is about how people relate to their surroundings more than the specifics of either the people or the surroundings.

In this case the existance of the car, but not details about it, are what gives the entire image its very substance. All of how, and much of why, these people are where they are is explained by the presence of the vehicle. No detail about it other than its existance is needed, but that detail makes the rest of the image.

I've quoted Joel Meyerowitz in other articles as wanting "ephemeral connections between unrelated things to vibrate". The car provides one anchor for a string that vibrates like the strings on a violin!

Thank you very much for your review. The Joel Meyerowitz video and outlook are quite insightful. I am trying to develop that "eye" for composition. Your review is appreciated!
